THE ROLE

 

Due to continued growth, NetConstruct is on the lookout for a talented, results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our brilliant team and play a key role in the development of our successful business. Working to find new opportunities, you will handle inbound leads, build strong relationships, and position our web design and development services to potential clients.

Generating new business opportunities across a broad cross-section of industries, the role will involve pitching clients, attending networking events, creating bespoke proposals and nurturing leads. This role has huge opportunity with potential for career development in a growing, ambitious business.

You will work closely with our Head of Business Development, Managing Director and wider New Business team, as well as Client Services to ensure smooth project handovers and successful client transitions. As a close-knit team, we enjoy working together to create the best solutions for our clients. While this role requires a strong level of independence and self-motivation, the ideal candidate will also be a team player who will match our culture.

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  •       Identify potential sales opportunities with new clients
  •       Handle pre-qualified leads and make introductory calls to gather leads
  •       Negotiate and close new business opportunities
  •       Face to face client meetings
  •       Answer client queries and provide relevant information to ensure the company’s maximum sales potential is realised 
  •       Maintain a full understanding of company processes, policies, guidelines and contractual obligations and ensure these are consistently followed
  •       Keep up to date with industry and company trends and developments

 

 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  •       Ensuring monthly targets are met
  •       Growing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline
  •       Negotiation and closure of new business opportunities

 

THE PERSON

 

We are looking for someone with the determination to succeed, who is passionate, hard-working and target driven. Candidates will have strong selling experience, able to demonstrate effective negotiation skills, an entrepreneurial flair, as well as competent in writing and presenting high-quality proposals and sales presentations.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  •       Strong time management and organisational skills
  •       Ability to work with minimal supervision and a desire to learn the platforms and understand their complexities
  •       Meticulous attention to detail ensuring proposals are produced to a consistently high standard
  •       Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour with the ability to communicate effectively and create rapport with both clients and colleagues 

 

 

SKILLS WE’D LOVE YOU TO HAVE

 

  •       Prior experience working within Kentico and Umbraco
  •       A passion for the internet and digital marketing, as well as an understanding of web technologies and knowledge of the website development lifecycle is desirable
  •       At least two years B2B sales experience, preferably in a digital agency or similar environment
  •       Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  •       A full UK driving license (mandatory)
